Lisa Christine is a global people connector who thrives on idea generation and playing with passion. Lisa has amassed an impressive business and personal network, having collaborated and created profitable partnerships in her consultancy, as well as her career in the corporate world. While working for American Airlines, SkyTel, AT&T, and IBM, she was recognized with multiple awards and was always ranked in the top 5% for her performance in orchestrating lucrative sales deals. Most recently, she worked with MIT, leading engagement to strategically build and grow the MIT Startup Exchange (STEX) by matching $1B corporates with MIT-connected entrepreneurs and startups.

Her entrepreneurial spirit set the stage for Lisa Christine to launch Bateau Ventures in 2003 to help her clients generate revenue and increase the visibility of their brand. A dynamic and self-motivated entrepreneur, she delivers results and tackles new opportunities with high energy and a contagious enthusiasm. Her out-of-the-box thinking and charismatic personality have been regularly likened to a breath of fresh air. Her optimistic approach, sense of humor, and level head influences her negotiating success. She is an effective spokesperson and skilled at driving market awareness, positioning, and messaging to deliver results.Her desire to creatively express and live on purpose fuels her personal mission to empower, motivate, educate and create. Igniting passion and inspiring others through her humor and motivational speaking, Lisa encourages women to remove obstacles, fuel their own economy, and step out in faith. She has served on panels and as a keynote on topics from emerging technologies to climbing the corporate ladder, and has addressed audiences from the investment and innovation communities to women-only forums.

Lisa Christine believes in “giving back” and impacting lives. In 2002, her interest in fundraising compelled her to present a series of gourmet food and wine soirees affectionately known as “Mes Amis” to raise money, cultivate sustainable relationships, and facilitate future charitable giving within her local community.

In the past, she served as State Alumni Coordinator for Kappa Delta Sorority, a leadership Chair with The Junior League of Boston and YWCA Newburyport, and was an Executive Board Member with both Women in Technology International (Boston), and the Women’s Leadership and Technology Consortium. She is also a member of Alley to the Valley and a collaborator with We Own it Summit. Lisa Christine also served as a member of the advisory committee for the Center for Women and Enterprise and Springboard Enterprise partnership, and is an enthusiastic volunteer with Junior Achievement.

Lisa Christine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from West Virginia University and a Master of Science degree in Communications Management from Simmons College. Her thesis entitled “Successful Leadership in Entrepreneurial Organizations: “The Role of the Intrapreneur vs. The Role of the Entrepreneur” was positively received. Lisa also earned a M.B.A. certificate from the AT&T School of Business and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in General Management; as well as a certificate from Harvard Law School in Negotiation. She is a Certified Coach and a Certified Workplace Learning and Performance Professional through the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).

She loves international travel, gourmet cooking, the playfulness and innocence of her Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, and any time she can get on the water to sail.

Danielle has handled a broad range of client facing responsibilities at some of the best communications consulting and digital agencies in the Boston area. Susan is the principal of MacPhee Design Group, a digital agency offering web design, development, and support in open source and cloud technologies - Drupal and Webflow. Her experience in working with Drupal and state-of-art technologies drives her to keep up with the ever changing pace of the internet of things. Susan is also the founder of Design for Drupal, Boston, a web design event focused on designing and UX in Drupal since 2009. Lisa comes to 28 Carrots with 17 years of experience working in marketing consulting, sales, strategic fundraising and relationship marketing. Lisa's broad range of experience crosses many verticals from retail management to insurance and currently, working with executives in cybersecurity. She also has successfully raised three children while building businesses and driving revenue. Lisa holds a B.S in Marketing/Communication from University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Nikki has spent the past 20 years in the marketing/advertising space. She has been a part of building successful businesses from the ground up. In her former life as a designer, she gained inside perspective on the nuts and bolts of day-to-day project work and client management, but her flair for managing people and attracting top talent has led her to become one of the most esteemed senior executives in the advertising space. And if that isn’t enough, in her spare time, she also coaches her kids’ flag football teams. She has recently opened her own Marketing Agency in Newburyport, MA where she plays the role of CEO/COO. Her winning combination of business strategy, operations management, sales and people skills should be quite the fit.
